Beginning quilters, experienced quilters, male, female, young to mature, as well as knitters, crocheters and other needle crafters gather together.

Activities include: Shop Hops, pot lucks, classes, Retreats & comfort quilts including Cancer Kids and Spirit of Christmas plus others. Cutting tables, rotary cutters, rulers, irons & ironing boards are available for your use. During the meeting and Show and Tell, members show their projects and learn about future classes, events or projects. The more experienced quilters are always happy to help you with problems you might be having with a quilt you are trying to make.

A bit of our story...in 1999 the Chippewa County Piecemakers quilting group held the first quilt show at the Chippewa Falls Senior Center. In 2014 the Stitching Pals took over hosting this fabulous event and it moved to the Northern WisconsinState Fairgrounds. There is no fee for entering your handmade quilts. It is not a judged show, however, the guests are asked to vote for their 'Viewers Choice'.
Both the Piecemakers and the Stitching Pals meet at the Chippewa Falls Senior Center, which is a wonderful asset to the community. Many charities and people benefit from these groups and this wonderful annual event. * 116 Quilts, handmade mittens and pillowcases were donated to the Spirit of Christmas Program which helps local families in need. * 150 Quilts are given each year to the University of Minnesota Children's Cancer Hospital. * Disaster quilts are given out to people who have had a life changing event, causing them to lose their belongings or home. * 56 Quilts were donated last year to Klein Hall Rehab Home for homeless veterans last year.
We are ever grateful to the Chippewa Falls Senior Center for having the space and willingness to host our groups there, so that we can continue to create gifts of love for those in need.
